Jeffrey Edmison
Jeffrey Edmison, Chief Executive Officer, provides strategic leadership for the organization’s national education and community initiatives. With over two decades of experience in education reform and organizational leadership, Jeff is dedicated to improving teaching and learning by aligning systems, structures, and resources to meet the needs of schools, districts, and states. Before becoming CEO, Jeff served as CTAC’s Chief Officer of National Field Operations for 13 years, overseeing transformative projects such as the Standard Bearer Schools process and federal initiatives focused on leadership development, STEM education, and human capital management. His leadership has driven measurable improvements in student achievement and organizational effectiveness across multiple states. Prior to joining CTAC, Jeff held senior leadership roles in public education and private sector management. As Chief Operating Officer for the Christina School District in Delaware, he spearheaded systemic reforms that significantly increased student outcomes. He also served as Associate Superintendent for the West Contra Costa Unified School District in California and as Regional General Manager for EdisonLearning, where he led large-scale operational and academic improvements. Jeff’s expertise spans school turnaround, charter schools, STEM, fiscal accountability, state-to-district assistance, and leadership development. A retired U.S. Air Force officer, he brings a disciplined, results-oriented approach to his work. Jeff is a trusted collaborator, known for fostering partnerships with educators, families, and community leaders to drive sustainable change.
