Kati Garness, Senior Associate, National School Reform, provides technical assistance and evaluation services to districts and schools and supports CTAC’s communications and development initiatives. She has experience teaching and coaching in district, charter, and international schools. Kati has expertise in and has coached on topics such as early childhood education, bilingual education, school culture and climate, English language learning, and project-based learning. Previously, Kati was selected as one of the first Harvard Graduate School of Education Dean’s Fellows where she supported the expansion and development of key initiatives within the Gwinnett County Public Schools (GA) Office of Early Learning. She has served as an educator coach in Peace Corps Colombia and began her career as a Teach for America corps member in the Washington, DC area.
